Team dsm-firmenich’s unbelievable run of form continued this morning and early afternoon as they made it a fantastic four wins in a row with Charlotte Kool at the Baloise Ladies Tour.
Rolling out from Breskens this morning, a short and sharp 80 kilometre route saw the peloton take on laps of a circuit in the finale of the day. Continuing to ride incredibly well as a group, Team dsm-firmenich once again controlled the day and brought back the early breakaway with around 25 kilometres to go. Sensing fatigue in the peloton, the team hit it into a crosswind section and split things up as all five Team dsm-firmenich riders made the front group. Keeping the pace up, the team drove it into the finale and once again brought Kool into a position to launch her sprint. Showing incredible speed once more, Kool jumped from the wheels and didn’t look back, crossing the line in Knokke-Heist to take the team’s fourth win in a row at the race.
