Team dsm-firmenich coach Rudi Kemna: “The one-day race in Hamburg will be the opening of a week of racing in Germany for the peloton. The peloton faces 205 kilometres of racing with a flat first part and some punchy short climbs in the second half, that could shape the race. In the last years, we’ve often seen reduced bunch sprints fight for the victory. Good teamwork and positioning throughout the day are crucial for a parcours like this. If we do that in a good way, we will be able to play our cards with guys like Nils and Marius as potential sprint finishers to go for a result.”
