Team dsm-firmenich coach Pim Ligthart: “The Bretagne Classic is a testing one-day race in the western part of France. Between the start and finish in Plouay, the riders face almost 260 kilometres filled with short and punchy hills that will shape the race. We go to the race with a core of riders who had good races in Germany and at Renewi Tour and want to take that momentum with us to France. The parcours offers a lot of possibilities and we have to be prepared for different scenarios. The most important thing will be to ride well together as a team and be sharp on dangerous moves to be in the race when it counts. If we do this in a good way, we have some nice cards to play for the final.”
