Team dsm-firmenich coach Joey van Rhee: “With the Giro Ciclistico della Valle d’Aosta, another big race is around the corner. We will go to Italy with a young team made up of riders that are in their first year in the U23 category. The guys that are at the start line can show their climbing ability but we don’t go there with the pressure of results. The most important thing we want to work on is making sure that the basics are on point. In the last races, we saw at some moments that the guys still have to learn how to race at this level, and here we will work further on that. It will be a super hard week for them and if the team effort is there, we can be happy and see what we can achieve together.”
