Team DSM Christian Guiberteau: “Liège-Bastogne-Liège or “La Doyenne” is the fourth monument of the season and marks the last big one-day race before the Grand Tour season starts in two weeks. It is a very long race that features the typical punchy climbs of the Ardennes. Our focus for the first part of the day will be to be represented in the breakaway and want to look after Romain [Bardet] during the day in a good way. The goal is to bring him to the decisive part as fresh as possible and look for our options from there on.”
