Team DSM coach Joey van Rhee: “This is the first stage race in Holland with the Development program. Every race is an important one but this is one of our bigger early season goals. It’s a typical Dutch race where producing a good team effort is super important and the preparation for that already started earlier in the year. The goal of the team is to ride as a unit and have focus all the time. When we have that focus, then we can enter the race but the basics have to be in a good way. We have a few fast guys for the sprints, with Vlad, Patrick and Frank, but the team effort will be more important if the wind plays a role and splits the race into different groups.”
