Team DSM coach Phil West: “It’s hard not to be excited about coming to Paris-Roubaix. In the last years, we experienced some epic conditions which made for some great racing. While it doesn’t look like we’ll have the same weather, for sure the pavé will have something exciting in store again. The priority for us is to continue building the solid teamwork we have been working towards throughout the classics and it will be essential in this race that we are sharp as a unit together on the positioning work before each sector. Of course, it has been a while since a win came from breakaway in Roubaix but with a race as dynamic as this, then it can always be an option, so we will keep an eye on how things are unfolding and make sure we are represented if it looks promising.”
