Team DSM coach Roy Curvers: “The Ronde van Drenthe has a really intense first part and an easier second part with a flat run-in to the finish. The first 65 kilometres are ideal to put the peloton under pressure and we have a good team there to do so in our favour. With Sam, we have one of the fastest guys in the bunch as our finisher, but we also have other cards to play depending on how the race unfolds.”
