Across our three programs riders are taking on a variety of different courses this week as some of them take on their National Championships.
Sunday 18th June:
Czech Republic U23 Road Race – Milan Kadlec 2nd
“It was tough because I was against teams with five riders so it was so hard to chase every break but I managed to be in the breaks I needed. The sprint was 300 metres after a sharp turn so I was there first and then one guy passed me.”
Finland Road Race – Axel Källberg 3rd (U23 – 2nd)
“Feels great getting third and also a second place in the U23 ranking. It’s a bit disappointing to not get the win but still happy with the medals. Nationals are always a special race and very different compared to other races. The route was a bit too easy and it was hard to make something so in the end it was a bunch sprint and two guys were just a bit faster than me today.”
Wednesday 21st June:
Great Britain Time Trial – Pfeiffer Georgi 4th
Netherlands U23 Time Trial – Enzo Leijnse 1st
